  • Alex was born and raised in Saratoga Springs.

    He graduated from Stony Brook's Physical Therapy program in 2017 after completing an undergraduate degree at UNC-Chapel Hill.

    He began his career at traditional exercise-based clinic before seeking a more individualized and holistic opportunites.  Alex started working for Core in 2018.

    Alex enjoys working with all ages and problems, but from personal experience has empathy for injured athletes who are trying to return to full health.

    He enjoys athletics and activity in all forms, especially chasing his two daughters around. 

  • Sarah’s love for sport, movement, and the sciences lead her to pursuing a career as a Physical Therapist. Sarah was a three-sport athlete in high school in upstate New York. She continued her softball career at Manhattan College, while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Sarah received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Hunter College. While in graduate school, Sarah began advanced studies in manual therapy with the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). She qualified for an advanced placement for clinical study with a fellow and faculty member of the Institute of Physical Art in Denver, Colorado, and has been enthusiastically pursuing continuing education with the IPA to further her manual therapy skills ever since.

    Sarah initially spent many years specializing in orthopedics in NYC. Her interest in pelvic floor physical therapy grew through working alongside talented pelvic floor physical therapists and seeing the need to connect orthopedic treatment with pelvic floor treatment. Sarah has spent the last 8 years specializing in pelvic rehabilitation (for both women and men) in Manhattan, working alongside leaders in the field of pelvic health. She served as Physical Therapy Manager for Beyond Basics Physical Therapy, the premiere clinic in NYC for pelvic floor physical therapy, under the mentorship of many talented physical therapists including owner Amy Stein, author of Heal Pelvic Pain. While there, Sarah presented and helped to develop educational seminars for the public about pelvic floor health, and helped to train and mentor other physical therapists and physical therapy students. Sarah is passionate about increasing awareness and improving care for people with pelvic floor dysfunction – often an underserved population.

    Sarah has extensive post graduate education in manual therapy, visceral mobilization and pelvic health. Sarah continues to further her training in pelvic health and manual skills through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Institute, the APTA, and the Barral Institute. She has studied and done coursework by leaders in the field of pelvic health, and regularly attends the annual International Pelvic Pain Society conference to stay up to date on the latest evidence-based practice.

    Sarah has worked with women and men with a variety of diagnoses and conditions including: post-partum moms looking to get back to running without leaking, men with erectile dysfunction or who are post-prostatectomy, those with chronic pelvic pain syndromes or neuralgias, prolapse, constipation or bowel dysfunction, and everyone in between. Sarah is here to help. She is not only well versed in the biomechanical nature of pelvic floor dysfunction, but understands the psychosocial implications of pelvic floor dysfunction and is ready to work with you and your health care team to improve your quality of life.

  • Kayla enjoyed playing volleyball from an early age which created an interest in health optimization and body mechanics. That passion for health and movement led to the field of physical therapy. Kayla was born and raised in northwest Ohio then attended The University of Findlay where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Communication. Kayla stayed at The University of Findlay for graduate school for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. In PT school, Kayla took an elective course in manual therapy techniques and knew immediately that she wanted to focus on manual physical therapy.

    After graduating from The University of Findlay in 2014, Kayla started working at Core Physical Therapy. Kayla spent many hours with hands on learning from therapists at Core as well as completing manual therapy courses from the Chikly Health Institute in their lymphatic and brain curriculum. Core Physical Therapy has been a great fit for continual learning and application of hands on skills to help each patient with a total body approach. Kayla enjoys helping people throughout their lifespan from newborn babies to adult.

  • Meredith is a dedicated and skilled physical therapist who graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2013. Her journey in the field of physical therapy began when she experienced the transformative power of osteopathic manual therapy as a patient. Recognizing this as her true calling, Meredith delved into learning and studying under some of the finest manual therapists in Connecticut.

    Upon completing her education, Meredith returned to her roots, finding her professional home at Core, where she could passionately practice and refine her craft. Core became the ideal setting for Meredith to apply her expertise in osteopathic manual therapy, providing exceptional care to her patients.

    In addition to her clinical practice, Meredith contributes to the education of future physical therapists as part-time faculty in clinical education at Quinnipiac University. Her commitment to teaching reflects her dedication to passing on her knowledge and skills to the next generation of healthcare professionals.

    Meredith's approach to physical therapy is characterized by a genuine interest in working with people from all walks of life. She thrives on the challenge of identifying the root cause of each individual's issue, employing her expertise to develop personalized and effective treatment plans.

    Meredith finds joy and relaxation in the company of her two daughters and husband.

  • Russell holds both a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College. With a robust background in both fields, he is currently spearheading the development of the Corective Yoga program, aimed at enhancing therapeutic outcomes through innovative practices.

    Russell specializes in lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy, utilizing these techniques to address a diverse range of conditions. His expertise extends to helping individuals with vertigo, TMJ dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, and tinnitus, among others. He takes pride in his ability to work with all diagnoses, tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.

    At Core, Russell finds deep satisfaction in witnessing the progress and recovery of his clients. His commitment to their improvement and well-being underscores his rewarding experience working with a dedicated team to make a positive impact on lives.

  • Lauren spent most of her young life participating in both ballet and modern dance, which is where she discovered her passion for how the body moves and functions. That passion led her to the field of physical therapy for various injuries throughout the years and encouraged her to pursue a career in the field.

    Lauren attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. Lauren then went on to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at New York University. While attending NYU, Lauren also studied to receive her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification to expand upon her knowledge of sport specific training and exercise prescription.

    After graduating from NYU in 2019, Lauren spent the first 2 years of her career working at an Orthopedic and Sports clinic in Manhattan where she worked with a variety of different patient populations and injuries.

    Lauren took the knowledge she gained in NYC and decided to return to her hometown of Clifton Park, NY. During her job search, Lauren knew that she wanted to find a workplace that allowed her to maintain her autonomy as a Physical Therapist in addition to allowing her opportunities to expand upon her previous skills and knowledge, which is what brought her to Core. Since working at Core, Lauren has expanded her manual therapy skills through various continuing education opportunities.

    In her free time Lauren loves to spend time outdoors, particularly in the Adirondacks, where she enjoys hiking, skiing, and boating.

  • Deb graduated from Herkimer College in 2021, earning her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree.  In addition to her PTA certification, Deb holds certifications in Personal Training (CPT) and Nutritional Coaching (CNC). 

    Outside of patient care, Deb is dedicated to her professional growth. She is currently engaged in self-study focusing on the nervous system and its effects on the body, and is continually seeking to expand her knowledge.  Deb is passionate about deepening her understanding of the human body and values the opportunity to grow and develop her expertise in a supportive environment.  While Deb doesn’t have a specific diagnosis she prefers, her primary goal is to help people feel better, regardless of their condition. 

    Deb enjoys traveling, exploring new foods, hiking, and lifting weights. She embraces a balanced lifestyle and loves finding new adventures and challenges.  Feel free to reach out to Deb if you have any questions or need assistance—she’s always happy to help!


  • Rick holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, awarded in 2001. Currently, he serves as a dedicated member of the Core PT team, specializing in manual therapy, ergonomic and postural reeducation, exercise prescription, and activity modification. His professional focus revolves around assisting patients in general orthopedics and sports injuries.

    Rick is passionate about empowering patients to understand the factors contributing to their condition and encouraging them to make necessary changes for recovery. His expertise extends to sport-specific training, enhancing performance tailored to individual athletic goals.

    Beyond his professional pursuits, Rick finds enjoyment in cycling and golf, actively pursuing these hobbies outside of work.


  • Torey earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College and holds a certification in LSVT-BIG Parkinson's Training. Her clinical interests are diverse, encompassing pediatrics, neuromuscular issues, whiplash, and concussion.

    At Core, Torey has made significant strides in concussion recovery, scar work, and post-surgical rehabilitation, with a particular focus on C-sections and other abdominal surgeries. Her approach is informed by her background in sports, having played softball throughout her life. This experience fueled her passion for understanding the body and preventing injuries, ultimately guiding her to a career in physical therapy.

    Torey finds the most reward in helping individuals return to activities they love, cherishing the opportunity to support her patients in reclaiming their passions and improving their quality of life.
