  • Jill has been a dedicated physical therapist at Core PT for 18 years. She earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, in 2003. Throughout her career, Jill has cherished the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of patients, which is one of the aspects she loves most about working at Core PT. Her passion for diversity and inclusion is evident in her approach to care, and she takes great pride in working with individuals from all walks of life.

    Jill enjoys working with adults and children and is especially motivated by the challenge of treating complex cases that have stumped others. She finds immense satisfaction and joy in helping these patients overcome their pain and improve their quality of life.

    Outside of her professional life, Jill resides in the picturesque Catskills with her family. She loves spending time outdoors and enjoys playing with her two daughters. Her commitment to both her patients and her family reflects her holistic approach to life and care.


  • JoAnn holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Connecticut (1985) and an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy, working as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Berkshire Community College (2011). Her diverse career includes extensive experience in both long- and short-term rehabilitation settings, as well as working in skilled nursing facilities.

    At Core, JoAnn is particularly passionate about addressing scars and adhesions, and she has achieved notable success in treating dysfunctions related to the cranium and viscera. She finds immense satisfaction in helping patients return to their desired level of activity and takes great pleasure in the unexpected discoveries that arise during treatment. A memorable example of this is uncovering that a patient’s new dental crown was contributing to their ankle pain due to compensatory changes. JoAnn’s dedication to exploring and resolving complex issues highlights her commitment to delivering effective, individualized care.

  • Chris Denio earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 and has since expanded his expertise with specialized training from the Chikly Institute, focusing on the treatment of various structures of the cranium and brain. Before joining Core, Chris worked at a rehabilitation center in Catskill, NY, where he honed his skills in addressing a range of complex patient issues.

    At Core, Chris is particularly adept at tackling mechanical dysfunctions and enjoys the challenge of solving intricate patient problems. His success in treating jaw and visceral dysfunctions highlights his ability to integrate his advanced training with practical solutions for his patients. Christopher is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes by applying his deep understanding of both structural and functional aspects of physical therapy.

  • Troy started his academic career at SUNY Oneonta with a BS in Biology and a minor in Computer Science. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Stony Brook. While there, he was inducted into Alpha Eta, the National Honor Society for Allied Health Professions. Before becoming a physical therapist, he was an ACE certified personal trainer and coached the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team at Stony Brook.

    Prior to joining the team at Core in 2019, Troy worked on Long Island at an outpatient facility. The full gym there allowed him to round out his skills with therapeutic exercise before transitioning to a more hands-on approach at Core. He has taken numerous continuing education courses with an emphasis on manual therapy. 

    When not working, you’ll find him doing anything active. From strength training to hiking to golfing, he is always on the move.

  • Steve brings a wealth of experience to his role, having earned his PT, MS from Nazareth College in 2005 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 2009. Steve's passion for physical therapy lies in his investigative approach to patient care. He thrives on the challenge of identifying the underlying causes and pathologies that contribute to chronic pain and compensatory adaptations.

    Steve's goal is to return patients to their highest level of function with minimal pain. His dedication to uncovering the root issues and crafting tailored treatment plans underscores his commitment to helping individuals achieve lasting relief and optimal health.

  • Danielle brings over 25 years of diverse experience in physical therapy to our team, having earned her Master's in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in 1999. Her extensive background spans pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, and chronic pain, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her field.

    As a certified doula, Danielle combines her physical therapy expertise with a compassionate approach to support individuals through various stages of life. Her passion for working with young athletes to enhance their performance is matched by her interest in treating visceral and cranial conditions, where she finds great satisfaction in observing how these therapies impact the entire body and person.

    Committed to professional growth, Danielle continually expands her skill set through numerous advanced education classes, particularly in manual therapy techniques. Her goal is to empower each individual to become the best version of themselves, both physically and mentally.

    Danielle loves the dynamic nature of physical therapy, where there is always something new to learn and discover. Her enthusiasm for her work and dedication to ongoing learning make her a valuable asset to our team and a compassionate partner in every patient’s journey to well-being.

  • Brittany is a nature enthusiast who finds solace in hiking through the great outdoors. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of high-quality, one-on-one care, she ensures each patient receives personalized attention and support on their journey to recovery. Having initially started her career in nursing homes, Brittany discovered a renewed love for physical therapy upon transitioning to outpatient care, where the magic of rehabilitation truly flourished. She also holds a minor in aging studies, enriching their understanding of geriatric care. Moreover, Brittany harbors a special passion for visceral and scar tissue work, embodying a holistic approach to healing and wellness.
